Founded in 1932, the Faculty of Blended Learning is one of the oldest and most respected MSLU faculties, forming part of the Maurice Thorez Institute of Foreign Languages. We are committed to cultivating global communicators equipped with linguistic expertise and intercultural competence.

Study Programs

For High School Graduates

Our Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication offers a Bachelor’s degree in 45.03.02 Linguistics with a specialization in Theory and Practice of Intercultural Communication.

• Format: part-time study

• Duration: 5 years

For Those Pursuing A Second Degree

We also offer programs for students seeking a second or subsequent higher education in Linguistics (Bachelor’s Degree), with the following specializations:

• Theory and Practice of Intercultural Communication (part-time, 5 years)

• Translation and Translation Studies (blended learning, accelerated program — 3 years 6 months)

Languages You Will Master

Our students graduate with proficiency in two foreign languages. We offer the following combinations:

• English and German

• English and French

• English and Spanish

Innovative Teaching

The Faculty of Blended Learning employs Moodle as the Virtual Learning Environment to deliver online courses, assignments, video lectures, quizzes, tests, and interactive activities. Students access Moodle as a dynamic environment for collaboration through forums and messaging, coursework submissions, and assessment tests. The faculty members use Moodle to create personalized learning pathways, catering to our students’ individual needs and learning styles.
