The Faculty of English
MSLU is a hub for humanitarian knowledge, acknowledged both nationally and internationally. In line with the university mission the Faculty of English sets out to undertake innovations in language teaching and research.
We offer programmes at three academic levels in a number of subject areas.
Our Bachelor's degree programmes include:

Today we continue our Faculty's long tradition of designing and implementing unique academic programmes. In 2012, MSLU signed an agreement on training sign language interpreters with the All-Russia Society of the Deaf, and today we offer a Bachelor's degree programme in sign language interpreting.
Since September 2014, we have been engaged in another ambitious project designed to train future teachers of Chinese and English. The project was launched in November 2013 when MSLU's Academic Board announced a new undergraduate programme initiated by the MSLU Confucius Institute. This Bachelor's degree programme is implemented within the subject area of Linguistics.
