Our deepest condolences to Iran after terrorist attack
On November 8, 2022, at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow, Alexander Polishchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Oriental Languages ​​of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, Honored Professor A.I. on behalf of our university students, faculty and staff, signed a book of condolences on the occasion of the death of 15 people and injury of more than 40 people on November 26, 2022 as a result of an ISIS terrorist attack. They were among the pilgrims and parishioners of the Shah Cherag mosque in the city of Shiraz.

Double Degree Program with the University of Pisa
On September 18, 2022, there was an online presentation of master's theses by students of the Faculty of Translation Polina Fedorova and Yulia Ivakina aimed at validating them. The students studied in the 2021/2022 academic year at the University of Pisa under the double-degree program "Linguistics and Translation Studies" implemented jointly by MSLU and the Italian university.

Double Degree Program MSLU - Allameh Tabatabai University (Iran)
The first double degree diplomas within the framework of the joint  educational program "Foreign Regional Studies" were received by Alexander Prilutsky, Natalya Persianova and Kamil Akhmetzhanov, graduates of the Institute of International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences, who studied online at Allameh Tabatabai University in the 1st semester of the academic year 2021/ 2022.

On September 7, 2022, the UN Association of Russia and the Moscow State Linguistic University signed a cooperation agreement meant to achieve sustainable development goals, as well as to support education until 2030 on the territory of the Russian Federation.

UN cooperation
Salima Valieva, graduate of the MSLU Training Program for Candidates for the Competitive Language Examinations, was enrolled in the UN roster to work on a freelance basis, having passed UN Interpreter Global Language Roster Exam to work in the Russian Section of the UN Interpretation Service with English and Spanish.
