Programme Overview
The programme provides you with extensive professional training in the field of library and information science. It aims to equip you with a broad understanding of the profession as well as a range of practical skills relevant to the employment market in library and information services. You will explore library services, the processes of information organisation and communication. You will learn to organise, store, and catalogue information for efficient access and retrieval; develop core competencies in IT, management and information handling. The programme combines the study of languages and humanities with specialist disciplines.
