Dmitry Pyshny, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting, about his internship at Okan-Istanbul University

Four months in Turkey gave me a chance to plunge into the realities and life of the country with which my career will be connected. What gave me invaluable experience was studying in Turkish, tcommunicating live with Turks and discussing a myriad of topics with them. 

There were a huge number of seemingly simple, but so important for understanding people and culture, situations. In addition, I was able to overcome many of the difficulties I faced while speaking Turkish. Thanks to this, I took a big step in learning this language, and the knowledge I gained will only help me increase the pace of its development, but already in Russia. 

I am grateful to the teachers of Turkish Ms Serazidinova, Mr Sarkisyan and Mr Sharov, who selected our candidates for the internship, the staff of the international department and the entire university in general, who in one way or another had a hand in this.
