On June 26, Asimjot Singh Chahal, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University Network of Chandigarh, India, visited MSLU. On behalf of the university, Irina Shokina, head of the department of international cooperation and internationalization, Maria Stepanets, director of the center for additional and professional education, welcomed the guest.
The meeting took place at the initiative of the Indian side following a series of educational seminars on recruiting Indian students in India in June 2024. The participants of the meeting discussed prospects for scientific and educational cooperation, areas of mutual interest such as applied cognitive research, innovative approaches to teaching Russian as a foreign language and Hindi, the development of advanced training courses for teachers of Russian and Hindi, and the development of academic mobility programs for students and teachers.
Following the meeting, it is planned to conclude a Memorandum of Understanding between MSLU and the Chandigarh University Network.
