Slovenian Embassy delegation visits MSLU
On January 24th, for the first time, MSLU welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia in Moscow, Mr. Branko Rakovets.
From the side of MSLU, the meeting was attended by Rector I. Kraeva, Vice-Rector for Science O. Iriskhanova, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization I.Shokina and Director of the Project Office for International Cooperation O.Egorova.

Particularly, within the frameworks of the Agreement, the plan of introducing the Slovenian language as a subject available for MSLU students is being studied. Moreover, the Rector drew the delegation’s attention to the opportunity of establishing a center of the Slovenian Language and Culture in MSLU.
In conclusion of the meeting Mr.Rakovets accepted I.Kraeva’s invitation to deliver a lecture for the students of MSLU, and noted that he perceives it as his mission in strengthening the friendly relations between Russia and Slovenia.
At the end of the meeting and a sightseeing tour of the University Branko Rakovets left his wishes to the students and professors of MSLU on the anniversary brand-wall.
