Rector holds a meeting with students

On January 25^th the second meeting of MSLU rector Irina Kraeva with students was held. This time the meeting was conducted online.

Most of the questions were obviously about the distant learning. The rector noted that distance learning was prolonged until February 6^th, 2021. Therefore, the students and professors will spend the first three days of the new semester online. All participants of educational process will receive relevant information concerning the process of education after February 6^th as soon as the government makes the decision. Speaking of foreign students who might return to Moscow after the end of distance learning, all the necessary measures recommended by epidemiologic services will be taken in their regard upon arrival.

Some questions were about the living conditions in the dormitories, fee-payment, peculiarities of choosing the linguistic course, transfer from a fee-based form of education to the government-financed. The students also asked questions about university workshops, establishing the center for psychological assistance and also capabilities of the university career service operates and the way it operates.
