Webinar by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) at MSLU

In accordance with the plan of cooperation of our university with WIPO, on September 15, a free WIPO webinar "PCT System: Typical Errors in Filing International Applications and During the International Phase" was organized. The webinar was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Translating and Interpreting, the Institute of International Law and Justice and the Project Office for International Cooperation. A total of 32 students and university staff were trained online.
During the webinar, they talked about common mistakes that applicants make when filing patent applications, in particular when applying internationally. The event was hosted by Olga Krysanova, Program Manager, Departmental Services Section, International Cooperation Division (PCT), Patents and Technology Sector, in collaboration with the WIPO Office in the Russian Federation.
The webinar on September 15, 2020 was the first of the planned for the 2020-2021 academic year.
