Malta’s Ambassador Visits MSLU

On July 23, 2019, MSLU Rector Irina A. Kraeva had a meeting with Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Malta to the Russian
Federation Mr. Pierre Clive Agius.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a possible framework agreement between
MSLU and the University of Malta, one of the oldest in Europe. It was founded in
1592.
I.A. Kraeva told the Ambassador about the history of Moscow State Linguistic
University and its annual events. The head of the diplomatic mission said he would
be willing to give a lecture to MSLU students and faculty and would like to take
part in MSLU events.
At the end of the meeting, both sides stressed their commitment to developing
friendly relations between the two countries, including mutually beneficial
cooperation in culture, education, and research.
