MSLU Develops New Academic Ties in Argentina

From April 18 to 22, an MSLU delegation led by Rector Irina Kraeva visited Argentina and took part in a series of events organised by the Russian House in Buenos Aires, including the Congress of Russian Compatriots Living in Argentina. The visit highlighted growing interest among Russian-speaking communities in preserving the Russian language and expanding educational opportunities for younger generations.

One of the key objectives of the trip was to establish new academic partnerships with Argentine universities. With the support of the Russian House, MSLU representatives met with delegates from 15 universities interested in cooperation with the University.

The discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation in Russian language teaching, teacher training, online educational programmes, and academic exchange. Argentine partners also expressed strong interest in MSLU’s expertise in translator and interpreter training.
