MSLU Hosts Celebration of World Hindi Day

The programme was graced by Georgiy Grachev, Vice-Rector for International Relations at MSLU and Anand Kamavisdar, Counsellor (Science & Technology) at the Embassy of India in Moscow, who delivered welcome remarks highlighting the importance of Hindi and cultural exchange. 

The celebration brought together distinguished guests, scholars, and members of the student community. 

A highlight of the programme was the award ceremony for the winners and participants of the All-Russian Hindi creative video competition, “150 Years of Vande Mataram”. The celebration also featured an interactive Hindi quiz conducted by Maksim Demchenko, Associate Professor at MSLU. 

The event was further enriched by a vibrant cultural programme featuring performances by JNCC music instructors and the Arjumand Dance Group.
