MSLU Hosts Opening of the Chinese Bookshelf Project

On September 4, a delegation from China Education Publishing & Media Group Ltd., led by Li Zhifa, visited Moscow State Linguistic University for the official opening of the “Bookshelf of the Chinese Education Publishing & Media Group” project.

As one of China’s largest media groups specializing in educational and cultural publications in Chinese and English, the company donated over 80 titles of teaching materials to MSLU’s Confucius Institute.

The opening ceremony brought together MSLU leadership, faculty and students. In her address, Rector Irina Kraeva noted the growing interest in Chinese language and culture in Russia and highlighted the importance of access to high-quality teaching resources.

In his remarks, Li Zhifa emphasized the group’s commitment to supporting countries where interest in Chinese studies is rapidly expanding, including through the donation of educational and cultural literature.
