MSLU at Translation Forum Russia 2025

From August 15–17, MSLU participated in the XV International Translation and Localization Conference — Translation Forum Russia 2025, held at the Golden Ring Hotel in Moscow. This year, MSLU was an official partner of the event.

At the opening ceremony, Rector Irina Kraeva emphasized the importance of such forums for the professional translation community amid the changing labor market, highlighting MSLU’s commitment to preparing specialists for 21st-century demands, including interdisciplinary training, AI technologies, and expertise in international economic relations.

MSLU was represented by a large delegation of university leadership and faculty members. The university also organized a special section titled “Linguo Bingo”, which focused on AI’s impact on translation, new skills required in the digital era, and effective training methods for future translators. The session sparked active discussion and drew significant interest.
