MSLU at the 60th Anniversary of Dalian University of Foreign Studies (China)

On September 19-23, a series of ceremonial events dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the university were held at MSLU's partner university, Dalian University of Foreign Studies.

One of the key priorities of DUFS is the Russian language and literature. The university is renowned by the special quality of training specialists who speak Russian.

The cooperation between our universities began in 2012. Academic mobility is actively developing between our universities on a parity basis; Chinese students come to MSLU to participate in the Summer School of Russian Language and Culture.

At the opening ceremony of the university museum, there were numerous congratulations from leading universities in China, as well as Russian universities and other foreign partners. In her congratulatory address, MSLU rector Irina Kraeva emphasized the high status of the linguistic school of Dalian University: the university continues to educate entire generations of highly qualified specialists.

Vice-rector for youth policy and educational work Innara Guseynova and head of International Cooperation and Internationalization Irina Shokina represented MSLU at the ceremonial events, and at the scientific part of the ceremonial conference, they delivered a report "Academic mobility of students as an integral part of the sustainable development of a modern university of language education".
