The working trip of the rector of MSLU to Italy

On April 22-24, Rector of MSLU Irina Kraeva and Director of the International Cooperation Project Office Olga Egorova visited Italy on a working trip. They held several meetings with educational and other specialized organizations involved in teaching and promoting the Russian language and culture.

Representatives of the university visited Rome University of International Studies (UNINT), where they had a meeting with the university direction. A meeting with professors of the Russian language, culture and translation was organized and various projects for promoting the Russian language were presented.

In addition, while at the University of Bologna, Irina Kraeva and Olga Egorova took part in the presentation of the book by Sergey Biryukov, the leading researcher at the Laboratory of Comparative Literature and Creative Practices at MSLU. The publication was presented as part of the events of the Department of Modern Languages, Literature and Cultures.

On the final day of the trip, the MSLU delegation held meetings at the Dante Alighieri Society, visited a language school, and discussed further cooperation. At the end of the visit, Rector of MSLU was awarded a commemorative medal of the Dante Alighieri Society.
