On September 14, MSLU together with the Embassy of the United Mexican States, showed the Mexican drama “Danson” (directed by Maria Novaro, 1991) for our first, second and third year students of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting studying Spanish. The film tells a story of a Mexican girl passionate about dancing. Every week she appears on the dance floor with her partner, with whom she is in love. But one day he disappears, and then the girl goes to Veracruz with the hope of finding her lover.
The students noted that the film helped them learn more about the culture, traditions and customs of Mexico, feel its uniqueness, as well as helped to demonstrate the students the peculiarities of the Spanish language in Mexico.
