On October 16-21, an exhibition of Russian education took place in Karachi, Pakistan. It was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo. Leading Russian universities presented study programs, admission, accommodation and answered questions from applicants who are planning to come to study in Russia in the near future.
MSLU was represented by head of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization Irina Shokina and Deputy Vice-Rector for Educational Activities Georgy Grachev. “Our goal was to tell Pakistani applicants and university and college students about the advantages of studying in Russia in general and the prospects for a professional career studying at MSLU, including the possibility of studying on a scholarship from the Russian government or on a paid basis at all levels of study - undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate,” said Irina Shokina.
Our colleagues discussed cooperation in the field of science, technology and student exchanges with the leadership of a number of Pakistani universities: National University of Modern Languages, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technologies, Iqra University, Karachi University, Sindh Board of Technical Education.
Georgy Grachev said: “Negotiations are already underway with a number of Pakistani universities to sign inter-university agreements (National University of Modern Languages (NUML) and the leading private university Iqra).”
