MSLU Delegation in Brazil

The official delegation to Brazil was headed by MSLU Rector Irina Kraeva. The two-week visit included a series of fruitful negotiations culminating in a number of landmark agreements sealed.

The delegation also included Olga Iriskhanova, Vice Rector for Science, and Irina Shokina, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization.

The colleagues visited the University of Sao Paulo USP, University of Campinas UNICAMP, Federal University of Sao Paulo UFESP, University of Minas Gerais UFMG, University of Bahia UFBA, University of Fluminense UFF. The productive talks showed that both sides are now interested not only in promoting the values of academic mobility, but also in positioning mutual cooperation as a new tool for the formation of professional competencies among students and teachers. Participation in Brazilian-Russian projects will give both students and teachers the opportunity to realize themselves in a global context of intercultural communication.
