Ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea Visits MSLU for the First Time

The MSLU leadership held their first meeting with His Excellency Luciano Nkogo Ndong Ayekaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in the Russian Federation.

At the meeting, the University was represented by Rector Irina Kraeva, Irina Shokina, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization, and Maxim Stepanov, Director of the Institute of International Educational Programs.

During the meeting the Parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in different areas. In particular, they discussed the issue of attracting students from the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to study at MSLU and the expansion of contacts and cooperation with the country’s universities to get scientific and pedagogical staff more deeply involved in joint project activities. Currently, five students from Equatorial Guinea are studying on bachelor's and master's programs at MSLU.

The Republic of Equatorial Guinea is the only African state to have Spanish as one of its official languages.
