MSLU Meets Representative of the the University of Informatics Sciences of Cuba

On January 31, Beatriz Aragon Fernandez, Head of the Events Department of the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI, Cuba), visited our university.

The main topic for discussion was the 5th international conference "UCIENCIA 2023", which will be held from 3 to 5 October 2023 in Varadero and will feature various symposiums, seminars and master classes on cybersecurity, bioinformatics, internationalization of higher education, etc. Sergey Pilipenko, MSLU Vice-Rector, was invited tto take part in the conference as a speaker and a member of the scientific committee, while Irina Shokina, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization, to join the scientific committee of the section on internationalization.

Those present at the meeting also discussed joint network programs and a double-degree master's program in information security. They also considered a draft supplementary agreement on student exchange as well as the terms of the exchange and the duration of the internship. Ms. Fernandez noted that the University of Informatics Sciences would be happy to welcome Russian students for study.
