MSLU Holds Second Youth Forum "Friendship of Peoples"

On October 15, MSLU held a multinational festival to promote friendly relations between youth organizations from Central Asian countries and the Russian Federation.

The forum was organized by representatives of youth organizations from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as MSLU students. This year’s number of forum attendees was more than 500.

The educational program of the forum included discussions on international youth cooperation, public diplomacy, youth policy, media and career, master classes on fundraising, information support and other key skills required to implement international projects.

The key forum events included the inauguration of a Chingiz Aitmatov classroom at the eponymous Center of the Kyrgyz language and culture, the first ever to be opened in Moscow.

The forum also featured an exhibition of national crafts, costumes, sweets, household items, toys, musical instruments, and much more. The centerpiece of the exposition was a genuine Kyrgyz yurta.
