MSLU has its first Master's Degree in Double Diploma Programme

On June 20, the presentation of Master's theses was held in MSLU together with the University of Pisa (Italy). The graduates presented the projects within the frameworks of the double-degree programme.

The presentation was remotely attended by Italian consultants: Marco Sabatini, Professor of Slavic Studies, University of Pisa, and Cinzia Cadamagnani, Associate Professor of Slavic Studies. Graduates Yulia Ivakina and Polina Fedorova rightly received excellent marks for their studies in audiovisual translation. The state examination commission emphasized the high level of the presentations, the scientific and practical relevance of the theses, wheras their supervisor Elena Borisova, head of the Department of Italian Language with the Translation Faculty, underlined the courage of the graduates who were not afraid of difficulties, taking the one-year training course in Italy in 2021-2022. The Russian and Italian sides expressed hope that the partnership will continue.
