The event was held in the format of a meeting with the authors, who told the future readers about the motivation for writing the book and its concept, as well as the topical issues they raised in their monograph. The attendees were addressed by Ekaterina Pokholkova, Dean of the Translation and Interpreting Faculty, Tatiana Mozol, Head of the Department of Oriental Languages, Darya Mavleyeva, an Associate Professor of the Oriental Languages Department, and Konstantin Asmolov, a leading researcher of the Center for Korean Research at the Institute of Far Eastern Studies, RAS.
Welcoming remarks were made by Rumia Tangalycheva, editor-in-chief of the monograph and associate professor at the Department of Sociology of Culture and Communication, St. Petersburg State University.
