Psychology Day at MSLU

November 18, 2016 was MSLU's Psychology Day, dedicated to 120 years since the birth of Lev Vygotsky, internationally famous Russian psychologist. The programme featured master-classes by the leading lecturers of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogical Anthropology, an "In-Depth Interview" with Prof. T.I.Pashukova and an overview of the Department's specialisations and subject areas.

The Department's faculty, students and alumni met in a solemn ceremony that was addressed by I.Manokhin, MSLU Rector, I.Krayeva, Dean of the Faculty of English, Prof. A.Bulgakov of the Vygotsky Institute, Russian University of Humanities, and other speakers, followed by a lecture.

Students training as psychologists and educational psychologists entertained the audience with a piece of amateur theatricals based on F.S. Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby".
